My Creative Process

I start with a blank canvas. To which I add paint, ink and stamps. Many times this canvas will sit for a few hours or days waiting for a image. When my mind has created an image that I believe is inspired by God. I will tear it out of paper, paint a few more details on, and then finish off with words.
The words are perhaps my most favorite part. They come from all over, the Bible, conversations, sermons, my heart. While I am preparing and creating a canvas often time's words will just come to me.
It's hard to explain this whole creative process without sounding all mystical. I can assure you it's a real process, but I can't really explain to you how it happens over and over again. They say the proof is in the pudding. Well, each canvas whispers to the heart of someone, whether or not they purchase it, and that is good enough proof too me.
I often write about the specific ways God has used a certain Lovely on my blog. I'd love to have you visit there to learn more about how specifically God has chosen to use this ministry to give hope and love to those who call out His name.
